Welcome to the first "Hardware Reverse Engineering Workshop" (HARRIS 2023) in Bochum, Germany.
This in-person workshop strives to bring together the international hardware reverse engineering community, be it partners from industry, academia, or government. It aims to facilitate an open exchange within the community, spark future collaborations to advance the state of the art in hardware reverse engineering research, and together overcome existing limitations.

HARRIS'23 concluded with more than 20 talks and almost 90 international participants from academia, industry, and government.
