The workshop is organized by the Embedded Security group of the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) together with the cluster of excellence CASA and Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB).
Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy
The Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy was founded in May 2019. The institute’s mission is to study and develop the technical foundations and interdisciplinary aspects of security and privacy. The institute seeks impact through publications, artifacts, and personnel, and serves as a center of excellence for basic research and for the training of the next generation of scientific leaders in security and privacy.
CASA
CASA “Cyber Security in the Age of Large Scale Adversaries” is a Cluster of Excellence at the Ruhr-University Bochum, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) for seven years. In an interdisciplinary approach, top-class scientists are researching sustainable measures against large-scale cyberattacks. This involves addressing technical issues, as well as analyzing psychological factors of IT security.
